As 21st-century research, teaching, and learning practices continue to evolve, so do the ways library professionals collaborate to create richer teaching and learning experiences for our faculty and students. Participation in communities of practice help to expand our knowledge and capabilities, and are vital to our ongoing success.
I’m pleased to announce that the E.H. Little Library has joined with Davidson College’s Digital Studies Department to sponsor a partnership with the Institute for Liberal Arts Digital Scholarship (ILiADS). Entering its seventh year, ILiADS provides project-based and team-based opportunities for focused support of a digital project in collaboration with partners across liberal arts colleges and universities. Through these networks, project teams are provided opportunities to explore questions around digital scholarship and develop digital teaching and/or research projects in a supported setting.
If you are a member of the Davidson College community and would like to learn more about ILiADS or explore the idea of sending a project team to a future summer institute, please contact Jacob Heil, Assistant Director of Digital Learning at Davidson College.
